The Southern Maine Agency on Aging in Scarborough has an opening for a part -time (20 hours/week) Accountant who will be responsible for providing support to the Accounting Manager in the areas of payroll, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger journal entries, grant reporting and bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have a B.A. in accounting or closely related field, or the equivalent in education and closely related work experience. Exceptionally strong computer skills required with proficiency in Excel, Outlook and Word. Preference will be given to candidates with successful experience in the use of computerized accounting systems. This position offers a flexible work schedule with the potential for job growth.
